Volunteer Workday – south Chinquapin Bluffs

Help keep the invasive plant Lespedeza cuneata from further invading our prairie restoration. This workday, led by Volunteer Steward Mary Jo Adams, will involve physical activity navigating unlevel ground, and pulling and/or lopping of plants. Please bring water, work gloves, sturdy shoes, long pants, and bug spray.

Click here for directions to the south gate of Chinquapin Bluffs. If this is your first time to Chinquapin Bluffs, don’t be alarmed by the statues and signs at the corner of 375N and 2225E (pictured below). The lane past them is publicly accessible and leads to the Chinquapin Bluffs gate.
