Reminders!

Deer Hunting has arrived. ALL ParkLands Foundation Preserves will be closed for annual deer management on the following dates:

November 17th-19th
November 30th- December 3rd
December 8th-December 10th

Archery season has begun on our Woodford County preserves. Please be aware that you may encounter bow hunters. We encourage hikers to wear safety orange during this time.

Our Mission

The mission of the ParkLands Foundation is to preserve historic natural lands in the middle and upper Mackinaw Valley watershed by protecting, ecologically restoring and managing these lands. Our preserves are dedicated primarily for preserving the biological diversity of native plants and wildlife, and secondarily for passive public recreation, environmental education and scientific research.
