Job Title: Executive Director
Reports to: Board of Directors
Position: Full-time
Schedule: Flexible schedule; occasional evenings and weekends for events
Compensation: Commensurate with experience
Job Summary: The Executive Director provides strategic and operational leadership for ParkLands Foundation, guiding conservation initiatives, donor and community engagement, fundraising efforts, and organizational management. This role oversees land stewardship, financial operations, staff and volunteer leadership, and partnerships that support the Foundation’s mission to protect and restore natural lands throughout Central Illinois. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, mission-driven leader with experience in nonprofit management, fundraising, and environmental conservation.
