Stewardship Workday – Kenyon Baller Preserve

Join lead volunteer stewards with this hands-on stewardship workday. The main focus will be trimming overgrown trees along the lane at Kenyon Baller Preserve along with some invasive brush removal. This is a workday recommended for ages 18+ with some experience working with loppers, handsaws, pole saws, or chainsaws. We will be actively treating cut stumps with chemicals during this workday. Please wear outdoor workwear (long pants, closed toed shoes/boots, and bring eye protection and gloves if you have them). Bring a water bottle. Correct PPE is required, especially for chainsaw operation.
Please be mindful that these volunteer workdays may involve enhanced physical activity such as bending, lifting, pulling, pushing, twisting, and walking on uneven terrain.
