Stewardship Workday – Chinquapin South Preserve

Come out to one of our featured preserves to do some seed collection! We will meet and work in the prairies alongside the trails near the red shed collecting seed to be used in future restoration projects (basically seed recycling!). This is a workday activity recommended for all ages and experience levels (volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult). We will provide bags and gloves, but if you do have your own gloves please bring them. Please bring a water bottle. We look forward to seeing you at this fall event!

Please be mindful that these volunteer workdays may involve enhanced physical activity such as bending, lifting, pulling, pushing, twisting, and walking on uneven terrain.
