Rescheduled – Night Under the Stars Astronomy Event

Experience the stars, moon, planets over the prairie of Letcher Basin Land & Water Reserve  while enjoying wine, fruit, and cheese included with admission.  Experts from the Twin City Amateur Astronomers will be on hand to educate us about the night sky, astronomy, and star maps using high-quality telescopes.  We expect to see Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, the moon, and possibly meteors.  Admission is $15 for members, $20 for non-members.  In the event that cloudy skies are forecasted for October 2, our planned reschedule date is Friday, October 1 (the night before).

Please bring lawn chairs and water.  We will provide the refreshments and all the equipment you need including special flashlights and telescopes.
