Hayes Woods Preserve Work Day 11/4

Join us for a public work day at the Hayes Woods Preserve on Friday November 4th from 12:00 PM-3:00 PM.

We will meet at the parking entrance of Hayes Woods at 12:00 PM, and walk to the area we will be working on along the trails. (Directions to Hayes Woods Preserve linked below)

We will work on clearing trails, and cutting and spraying Autumn Olive and Bush Honeysuckle from 12:00 PM-3:00 PM.

We will walk back to cars by 3:15 PM.

This work day, led by Volunteer Steward Ann Schreifels, will involve physical activity navigating unlevel ground, and pulling and/or lopping of plants.

Please bring water, work gloves and wear boots. Long sleeve shirts and long pants are encouraged!
