Nature Quest: ParkLands Insect and Wildflower Hike (formerly B-in-Nature event)

As part of the ParkLands Nature Quest Challenge, please come join us for an “Insect and Wildflower Hike” at the Lexington Preserve on Saturday 6/27 from 9-11:00 am.

We have invited some ISU post graduate student entomologists, who are insect experts, to help you look for and identify insects along the trail. ParkLands Volunteer Sherrie Snyder will also point out wildflowers and help you make iNaturalist observations for the Nature Quest Challenge.

We’re sorry that the “B in Nature” event was cancelled, but hope this “ParkLands Insect and Wildflower Hike” will still motivate you to get out and participate in the ParkLands Nature Quest Challenge.

Note: Please wear long pants and bring sunscreen, insect repellent, and a water bottle.
