Blooms on the Trails at Lexington Preserve
April 12 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
This program, created in partnership with University of Illinois Extension Master Naturalists, has been designed to engage all ages. While on the Trails, identify spring wildflowers and learn how to use the iNaturalist app for ID and documentation of your finds. As you walk along the Mackinaw River, you can learn about the wildlife that calls it home and connect with nature using your five senses by participating in a Scavenger Hunt. Finish up with some snacks while chatting with new friends.
ParkLands Foundation Fee: $5/group, up to 10 people.
* If you need a reasonable accommodation to participate, please contact jill@parklandsfoundation.org. Early requests are strongly encouraged to allow sufficient times to meet access needs.
* University of Illinois Extension provides equal opportunities in programs and employment.
Rain date: Sunday April 13, 1:00-3:00 p.m.
