Lexington Preserve Workday

Volunteers Needed!!!

We are looking for volunteers for yellow sweet clover pulling at ParkLands Lexington Preserve. Sweet clover, both yellow and white, is crowding out native plants in the prairies of Lexington Preserve. We need to hand remove as MUCH yellow sweet clover ASAP before it goes to seed. Come volunteer and help us out! There will be a work day on 7/2/26 and 7/3/26 from 8AM – 10AM (workday may span longer than 10AM) with future workdays on the second Saturdays of each month.

Bring plenty of water, gloves, sunscreen, and bug spray. Wear outdoor working clothes and closed toed shoes. If you have hand shovels you are welcomed to bring them as well. The sweet clover should be rather easy to pull out by hand. Please bring large leaf bags or tote bags to help carry out sweet clover.
