DESCRIPTION:Members of ParkLands Foundation are invited to the Annual Meeting of Members on Sunday\, September 13\, 2026. This is a free event with the option to purchase lunch ($20) or bring your own. \nOur ParkLands Lexington Preserve (2 Douglas Drive Lexington\, IL 61753) will be the site for an optional hike at 10:00 a.m. Experienced guides will lead and highlight important features of this preserve. Please wear appropriate outdoor attire for this hike. Further details and directions will be sent upon registration. \nAt 11:30 a.m.\, at the nearby Lexington Community Center\, 207 W Main St\, Lexington\, IL 61753\, attendees will have time to visit with various Committee Representatives to learn what these committees do and where to lend your skills. A Tony’s Taco Bar lunch ($20 payment at registration\, or bring your own) will take place starting at 12:00 p.m. and presentations will begin shortly thereafter. We’ll look back at the accomplishments of the past year and look ahead to our future. These seed heads are about to drop\, so we must get them out soon! Dress for outdoor working conditions (long pants\, covered ankles\, closed-toed shoes\, long sleeves recommended). Be sure to wear bug-spray\, sunscreen\, and bring a refillable water bottle. All tools and supplies will be provided\, if you do have your own gloves and garden clippers please bring them.
